Sir Flywalker released his highly-anticipated project “Indigo” earlier this month.

The project is comprised of beats arranged by Fly and is the follow up to his earlier release “Purple“.

Both projects are part of his “Sounds in Color Series”; which Fly has said was inspired by the colors of the Chakras. Indigo in particular corresponds with the “Third Eye” or Anja Chakra.

I have been researching and practicing some spiritual/new age techniques such as meditation myself and decided to use Indigo as my music as I meditated to prepare for my day.

The sounds washed over my mind and provided a vivid and evolving soundscape that my brain used as a playground for visualizing ideas. It was great. I felt my mind was being productive effortlessly, like I had tapped into a hidden energy.

It felt like I was getting a mental massage as my mental tension and stress seemed to just melt away. It made my mind feel more fluid, and helped me put my thoughts and ideas together with ease.

This is a great album for all of the meditators, people who use music for therapy and those that love to cruise and think. 30 minutes of enlightenment and energy restoral.

One track that stood out in particular to me was The Wav, I was relaxed and entranced by the previous beats but this one sent energy coursing through me and made feel like I was rejuvenated.
