Ray Kincaid is back at The Hood Hippie with his powerful “Handshake 2” record. The 11-minute track starts aggressively, as the Jackson-based MC calls out one of the city’s top indie stars in Silas. “What up SilaS? Before we all go down to Gullah Island, let’s get violent, start a riot!”, rhymes Kincaid on the opening verse. While it was not a diss in any way it still shows a certain level of awareness from Kincaid.

The track continues into a slower pace, as Ray lays down some poetic goodness over a melodic harmony. “Handshake 2” closes with a long bit of dialogue focusing on the world’s issues from his perspective. It is a well put together track and one that perfectly compliments the first Handhake track. To hear the original go check out his Artistic Depressionalbum now.
