The Cooligan Scotty ATL and The MFxOG Big Sant will be in Jackson tonight as the #NoHandOuts Tour makes a stop at Hal and Mal’s. They are also bringing along Spodee and Quick Trip to help keep the crowd rocking. Dolla Black and Savvy will also be in the building representing for the city! This is definitely not a show to miss. They will also be having a meet and greet hosted by Offbeat (151 Wesley Ave, Jackson, MS) at 530 PM, so stop through and chop it up with them before the show.

Scotty ATL is one of the hottest artists coming out Atlanta, with his Cooligan Movemednt he has grown a dedicated fanbase and continues to release quality projects to keep the people’s heads nodding. His latest video is “Nigga Concentrate” featuring Cyhi The Prince:

Scotty put together the entire #NoHandOutsTour on his own without the help of a talent agency. Thats a truly independent artist. That’s the entire theme of  his #NoHandOutsTour, rather than sit around and wait on somebody to give him an opportunity; he took initiative and created one himself.

Check Out his interview with DJ Smallz where he discusses the process:

Big Sant hails from Mississippi and has released a slew of mixtapes with an ongoing motif of matresses and pillows to symbolize how slept on he is. His cover art is also dope; MFxOG is my fave with its ancient Mayan theme. That’s as OG as it gets. Pretty clever and cohesive concepts at work. He’s no slouch on the mic either. He delivers with witty verses and high energy flows over traditional Southern production with a modern sheen.

He’s collaborated with a roster of talented artists from all levels of the industry including Big K.R.I.T., Rapper Big Pooh, Scolla, Joe Scudda, King Mez, Tito Lopez, Phonte, Young P.O., Tum Tum, Nickelus F., Michael Millions, Francois, DeLorean, Killa Kyleon, Scotty, A N T, Delorean, Paul Wall, Slimm Pusha, I 20 and RaRa.

When he’s on the road DJ BreakEmOff is his main man behind the turntables.

Dolla Black, Savvy, Spodee and  Quick Trip will also be in the building. These artists are grinding and picking up steam as they attract a growing fanbase from quality project releases and excellent perfomances.
