CLEW. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, was exposed to music early in life. Coming from a musical family, he was surrounded by the art. He discovered he was able to make music at age 10, writing songs and playing piano. That same year he joined the band and played the tuba. In 2003 he moved to Georgia and was exposed to a different style of music. In Arkansas the swang and game of Texas and Tennessee reigned supreme. In Georgia Outkast, Gucci Mane, T.I, and Goodie Mobb were the Kings. Being exposed to so many influences built an understanding for all types of musical backgrounds. Pursuit of a music career came with a fire. He followed that dream until age 18 where he decided to go to college. After marching in The Sonic Boom of the South and graduating from Jackson State University he persued a career in his degree, but could not pass on following a life goal. Turing a dream into action, he produced and released his first mixtape, A Dream Deferred. Laced with the smooth, soul sounds of UGK to Big K.R.I.T., Marvin Gaye to Barry White, he composed soul to ride with. Working and building on more projects he says to all listening, “Close Your eyes, You’ll see it better”.
